Tithe Teacher Double Standards: Selective Omission Using Septuagint (LXX)

Genesis 4:6 -7 in Septuagint: 6 And the Lord God said to Cain, Why art thou become very sorrowful and why is thy countenance fallen? 7 Hast thou not sinned if thou hast brought it rightly, but not rightly divided it? be still, to thee shall be his submission, and thou shalt rule over him.

Compiled from the Translation by Sir Lancelot C. L. Brenton 1851
Tithe Teacher Interpretation: The “rightly divided” in LXX Genesis 4:7 clearly proves that Abel had tithed by rightly dividing but Cain gave less than a tenth, therefore God rejected Cain’s sacrifice. This incident proves that tithing was practiced even in the very first family.
First of all LXX Genesis 4:7 does not "prove" that Abel had tithed. Abel was not commended for tithing but for offering in faith.
None of the New Testament parallel verses about the Cain and Abel incident indicate any thing related to tithing at all!
Hebrews 11:4 - By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

1 John 3:12 - Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Jude 11a - Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain
Hebrews 11:4 commends Abel for acting in faith, emphasizing the quality of the sacrifice and not the quantity.
This is what the same Septuagint says about tithe teachers' all time favorite tithe verses.
Malachi 3:8 “insulting God” instead of “robbing God”
Malachi 3:9 Does not mention about “You are cursed with a curse”
Malachi 3:10 Actually says “ ye have brought all the produce into the storehouses”
We can never find a tithe teacher quoting the Septuagint version of Malachi 3 because it will be a big blow to their false teaching about tithing. However when it suits their purposes, tithe teachers gleefully use Genesis 4:7. Tithe teachers are masters in selectively omitting Bible verses while over-emphasizing certain other verses.

Malachi 3:8-12 in KJV (Masoretic Text based)

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 3:8-12 in Septuagint

8 Will a man insult God? for ye insult me. But ye say, Wherein have we insulted thee? In that the tithes and first-fruits are with you still.
9 And ye do surely look off from me, and ye insult me.
10 The year is completed, and ye have brought all the produce into the storehouses; but there shall be the plunder thereof in its house: return now on this behalf, saith the Lord Almighty, see if I will not open to you the torrents of heaven, and pour out my blessing upon you, until ye are satisfied.
11 And I will appoint food for you, and I will not destroy the fruit of your land; and your vine in the field shall not fail, saith the Lord Almighty.
12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a desirable land, saith the Lord Almighty.

Selective omission, twisting and manipulation are not new to tithe teachers!
